What did you do with your Bo-Q?

Hi newlyweds, crashing here! Just wondering what you did with your bouquets after the wedding? I dried mine out and its sitting in my china cabinet....need some ideas before I end up just throwing it out!

I originally had EVERY intention of sending a few flowers to this company that makes rosary beads from your flowers. Things (of course) just got too stressful the last few days b/f the wedding and I left the next afternoon for my HM so i just sprayed it w/hair spray & hung it upside down from my wine rack & let it dry out. Its still hanging there, more than one month later. Not sure what I'm going to do. May be I will wrap it in tissue and put it in a box some where or I will get a display case for it.

i hung mine to dry... but it looks like crap... im just gonna throw it out i think...

i wanted to have mine dried so I can frame them with an invitation....however my flowers died by the end of the wedding night so I threw them out

Mine sat in my fridge for about 4 months & died then we moved and sadly to flowers didnt make the move.
I realy wanted to save them somehow but most of them were pretty close to dead by the next morning.

i threw mine out that night

they were peonies and they were in herendous shape - they were in bad shape even before the ceremony

My boq looked like crap from the moment they handed it to me, it was completely brown the next morning so it went in the trash

I dried mine out and its on a shelf for show - except one of the flowers in the middle is all big b/c it took alot longer to dry lol

I just laid it out on a candelabra in my house to dry. I really don't want to part with it yet, but I know when I do a huge clean sweep down the line it will probably end up in the trash.

I threw it out when we got back from our honeymoon.

i got mine freeze dried and placed in a shadow box with my invitation by a place called Forever In Bloom. FM for details.

I had mine dried, flattened and put in a frame. It is huge and the woman who did it was from PA and only charged me $150 (17 years ago). The frame is worth ALOT more than that alone.

i dried them out and then my friend had just started a business that makes flowers into beads. So I had the beads made and then I had jewelry made for myself and my mom and grandma.

I dried mine while on HM and now it's on a shelf in the living room with a bridesmaid's BOK too..they are book ends to a huge book on display of love poems, I'm sure in time I will need a new place for it but I love it

Since I had no idea what I wanted to do with it initally, my mom left it in the fridge while we where on our honeymoon. When we arrived home I pulled the entire thing apart. I put the flowers into a shoe box & left them to dry. I purchased a clear glass container & smushed all the petals & put them into the container. It currently sits on a shelf in our kitchen/living room.

Kept it in the fridge. I ended up throwing it out after I got back from my HM. I have no room for it.

mine is in a fridge in my parents garage along side with the top of our wedding cake which is in the freezer!
my husbands boutonniere is in our freezer...i have problems parting with things lol

Mine dried out sooo nicely! i think it looks better than it did the day of! haha!

it sits ontop of my china hutch in my dining room. Love it!! I shall never part with it... at least if I can help it!

it even survived a move!!! I think it has staying power!

I froze it.

Then I needed room in my freezer so I tossed it.

Pictures are good for remembering it, I guess.

I sprayed mine with hairspray and let it dry out...its sitting in a vase on top of my hutch in the dining room.

If you're gonna throw it out, do what DH and I did with the dried out centerpiece we just tossed...we made potpourri out of it!! Still have the flowers as memories but in a nice little organza pouch instead of taking up space and not looking so great :D

Mine ended up in the garbage. I wanted to keep them but by the time we got home from the HM they were no good.

i dried mine too and put it a zip lock bag. i have a box of all my wedding things.
