what did your child weigh at 3 months?

DS had his three month ped appointment yesterday. at 9 weeks he was 12 lbs 8 oz., and yesterday (at 12.5 weeks) he was only 13 lbs 9 oz.

i guess i figured he would have gained more weight especially since he gained weight like crazy up until 8 or 9 weeks!!

Average is 1-2 lbs a month, so he is right on target, if not over!

My DS is 3 1/2 months and he is just a bit over 15lbs. He was born 7lbs 3oz

At 3 months Jack was 18.2lbs.
From his 2mnth to his 3mnth he gained 2.2lbs.

He was born at 10lbs though!

I think it's a good weight increase for your DS!

I was going to make a post to see how the appt. was yesterday? How did he do?

Hmm not sure. At 2 months she was 12lbs 4 oz and 4 months 15 lbs 3 oz...so somewhere in between

Sophia was born at 6.4 lbs. At 8 months she was 8.2 lbs. She is still an itty bitty thing.

Brody was 7-10 at birth. At his check up on Monday, (age 11 1/2 weeks) he was almost 16 lbs!!!!

He went to the Doctor for a cold and weighed in at 15 lbs only 1 week ago... at this rate, he will be a giant!!

My kids didn't go tothe doctor at 3 months, they went at 2 montha and 4 months.

(born at 8 lbs 6 oz)-
4 months -17 lbs

#1(born at 8 lbs 7 oz)-
2 months- 12 lbs 6 ozs
4 months- 16lbs 12ozs

#2 (born at 9 lbs 3.4 oz)-
2 months- 15 lbs and 9.6 ozs
4 months- 19lbs 3 ozs

DD was 11.2 lbs at 3 months...just went for her 4 month visit and she shot up to 13.2! Now that we're starting cereal/solids, we'll see how big of a jump it will be at 5 months!

edited to add: She was 7lbs. 14 oz. at birth

~ 2 months - 14 lbs 5 oz
~ 3 months - 16 lbs 13 oz
~ 4.5 months - 19 lbs 4 oz
~ 6 months - 21 lbs 4 oz

(ETA: But Landin is a giant - he has always been in 90 percentile or above)

Ds was 13lbs 4oz at 3 months and 12 2oz at 2 months

My DD was only 10lbs at her 3 month appt. She was born at 7lbs 8oz. She was always in the 10th percentile until her most recent appt at 6 months. She jumped up and now weighs 15lbs, 6oz and is in the 25-50th percentile.

my mom said that she looked up my info from when i was a baby, at 11 weeks old i was 13 lbs 8 oz and 25 inches - very close to what DS is now. so that made me feel better too because obviously i turned out okay

I want to say 15lbs... but DD has always been huge - born at 9.2 and has stayed consistently at the 97th percentile for weight.

I think your baby's weight gain is perfectly normal!
