What do Braxton Hicks feel like?
I know its probably been asked before but I want to hear it from you girls who I talk to everyday. I thought it was like actual contractions but in one of my books it describes it as a painless, hardening feeling that can last from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I have felt that before quite a few times and I figured it was the baby stretching.

Nope- what you were feeling were/are BH contractions. They aren't really regular, like true contractions.

I have felt the same things in weeks past, and assumed it was her leaning outward too. I never even thought it could be B-H until someone on here posted about it!

That's exactly what it feels like.
When the baby stretches the feeling is more localized. The BH I felt all the way around my belly.

I only feel it in the front not the sides but it is the whole front/lower area of my belly. Is that considered localized or not really?

I always felt them front/lower in the beginning. I'm assuming becuase the uterus is lower.
Now, my whole stomach gets hard.

Mine feel like the baby is pushing VERY hard on one spot.
