what do round ligament pains feel like?

i am 17 weeks and i think i had them yesterday and this morning, although they are gone now... it felt like a sharp cramp, like the kind you get when you run hard, on the right side of my uterus, near my hip but not next to my hip.

if that's not it i am going to call my dr. if it happens again

I get this... it is a sharp pain like a pulled mussel it can come on quick it you turn to fast.  I also get it now more consistently in my groin area and upper inner thighs...it feels like I'v taken a difficult spin class or done too many squats...and lets just say neither one of those things have been done in a really long time. I find that slow stretching helps it sometimes.

this doesn't seem to be in a place that i can stretch - it's more like where my right ovary is, only higher.

I have felt the same thing since about 16 weeks or so, I will be 25 weeks tomorow. The best way I can explain it is like a stitch on my side as if I were running (which I haven't done in a long while, lol), on the side of my stomach on the lower right. Really weird and always happens when I am walking.h

Yes, this happens to me if I roll over in bed too quickly (like to shut off the alarm in the morning) I get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen off to one side. It hurts pretty bad for a few seconds and then dissipates. I've also had the ligament pain recently where if feels like I've been kicked in the Vajajay... its soooo weird. I almost can't walk for a little while when it happens. I think it funny. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

I just went to the Dr. yesterday for weird pains I was feeling. Mine were mostly in my groin area like where my leg connects to my body and upper belly. She said it was totally normal and not to worry. Hope you feel better.

This sounds like what I felt and my dr said ligament pains.
I got it for the first half of my pregnancy then new pains set in

If you are concerned though call your dr.

Yesterday after work, I got this funny pain. Sort of like I had over stretched (but I didn’t) and it made it a bit of a slow walk for me. It was a inch or so over my left hip and it was painful but not as bad as when I had those sharp pains from blood in my uterus. I figured it was growing pain and just took it slow on my walk to the subway. Stairs were a killer and it was going DOWN stairs too!

I’ve never had this pain before. I kept rubbing my side to sorta comfort the baby and muscle. I kept it warm because the colder I got the sharper the feel. Finally when I sat down I just kept a hand over it and after a long while it seemed to go away. I’d say about 15-20mins all and all.

Hope that was a ligament pain cause then it makes sense.

yes thats what I felt. Mine were closer to my hoo-ha and lower belly. But I would get a quick sharp pain. You can look them up on line for some desciptions on google.

I had 2 different kinds. One that felt like a pulled muscle and the other that felt like a really sharp pain - like I was getting stabbed.

You sound like you are having the stabbing pains that I had.

I sometimes get the same pain when I get up too fast or when I roll over in bed....
