I am an adult ESL teacher and also a library trainee while I go to library school. I love both of them and more than that, I love the culturally diverse library where I teach and work.

It's basically managing accounts from following up on leads to the delivery of orders.
This is basically my job description:
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR. This position is perfect for those who thrive on managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously. You enjoy researching and sourcing hard to find products and routinely go above and beyond to satisfy your accounts!
The Support Representative will:
Build and maintain successful customer relationships Manage the customer/account needs from start to finish Negotiate with vendors, source product, order samples Promptly pass through price increases Manage orders from entry to delivery
These were my duties at TCO:
Responsible for accurate data entry of all details related to the firm acquisition plan within the planning cycle; fax, email and mail all purchase order documentation to vendor base; track and report on delivery of all inbound/late shipments; maintain and update all pricing; maintain all correspondence and vendor records. Successfully manage over 45 vendor accounts and achieved 99% on-time delivery of all orders. Communicate with vendors on current and future orders; correct systematic errors with Cost Accounting; alter product lead times and sku attributes with Product Data Management. Assist Planner/Buyer and Manager with projects or ongoing tasks to meet the needs of the business.
It's one of those jobs were you're never bored because you have to follow up a lot and build relationships constantly.

I work for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer - on the logistics side - so I work w/ vendors, choose our sites, choose the route, etc.
I LOVE it!! It is a non-profit, so of course the pay could be better, but the people could not be better.

Re: what do u do for a living and do you love it???
I'm a freelance Stage Manager. I like it. Some days I love it. I can't even say it pays the bills. It doesn't. I'm paying my dues to hopefully do something I love (or at least make money doing something I like) soon.
I'm also working as in a role that ranges from personal assistant to associate producer. I'm enjoying it a lot and since I work mostly from home it really feels like easy money.
I'm also getting back into SAT Tutoring, which I really like.
ETA: FH is a computer programmer and how much he likes his job has really depended on where he was working what kind of prjects he was working on and what the people were like. Every project is different.

I'm a career counselor/ higher ed administrator. I absolutely love everything about it - though I'll never get rich doing it, the people are great, the environment is awesome, and its a satisfying job.

Higher ed. administration. Pay is good, but considering I have a doctorate not fantastic, but I love the environment and working on a college campus.
DH is an accountant and hates it.

Re: what do u do for a living and do you love it???UPDATED-with another question
I'm an account executive in the interactive marketing group of an ad agency. I manage web and email related projects for 3 major consumer brands. I'm new to the agency environment and I really like it. I'm also learning so much about traditional advertising. The pay is not bad... I think with more experience in the agency environment, I'll make much more.
ETA: My DH just graduated from law school and is waiting for his bar results. He has a "soft" offer from the state, but has to wait for his results to get the official offer. He is also currently working on a business plan to start a non-profit to provide counseling for inner-city HS boys. He wants to provide college advising/financial assistance and mentoring thru college graduation.
