What do we think of the new 2012 City Mini GT?
It's between the City Mini and the City Elite. 21 pounds (City Mini is 17). Forever Air wheels. Up to 65 pounds. Wider, deeper and taller seat. Firm padded seat bottom. Adjustable handle. Hand brake instead of foot break. Auto lock when folded. Easier access basket.

Looks awesome! I love my original city mini and have no complaints, but seems like they fixed a lot of the things people complained about. Great new colors too.

And they will also still have the regular City Mini. For 2012, it has an easier access basket, automatic lock when folded and the seat is an inch deeper.
The GT sounds very promising though too!

I am not a fan of it being heavier.
The thing I like most about mine is the light weight- and even THAT feels heavy to carry for me.
A few extra pounds is NOT what I'd want.

It's more than the City Mini. The single is $350. The original City Mini for 2012 went up $10 to $250. I don't remember how much the double is.

I almost bought a City Mini double but don't like the wheels and basket access, I'm SO glad to see the new wheels and how accessible the basket is, I think I will wait for the 2012 model. Any idea when it is coming out? I don't think I saw a release date or I missed it...

I just looked it up. The 2012 City Mini Double is $450 and the 2012 City Mini Double GT is $579.

In addition to the City Mini single, I also have the City Select which I use as a double and am not a fan of it (though its a nice single stroller - just heavy). I would love to get the City Mini Double GT but don't think I can justify buying another stroller!

I can't find anything that says whether it's meant for jogging or not... It is being marketed as "all terrain" though.

The other Minis aren't meant for jogging, so I don't think this one will be.

Just checked another website... Black/Shadow (black with shadow (gray) accents and Shadow/Orange (gray with orange accents).
