What do you buy at the 99 cents store?
I know some people probably don't set foot in them  but I love to look around. I usually buy:
Gift bags/tissue
lunch bags
plastic utensils
disposable alumininum pans
trash bags
office supplies if I see something good, like padded envelopes

The only time I go to the 99c store is around Christmas time for Wrapping Paper. And Christmas Decorations for my class!

You can buy five tests for only five dollars. EPT costs about eleven dollars for one... besides I am a cheap Jew. I blow the dust out of my wallet.

I usually buy stuff for my classroom. Other than that, at Christmas time I'll stock up on tissue paper and stuff like that. I also buy my HPT's there- DH thinks I'm crazy because I'll buy like 5 at a time.

scrapbooking supplies that I can use for making cards
I've found coloring books and betty crocker cookbooks (thin ones with like 15 recipes)
candles and holders
food or candy if its namebrand

Toys for my kids at school, baskets for my classroom, pretty much anything I buy there is for my classroom. I'll also buy party things, like crepe paper, wrapping paper, stuff like that.

hangers
cleaning brushes
tissue paper
ribbon
flashlight
batteries for DD's toys
nail polish remover
plastic cups for the bathroom
a ball for DD
and a yo-yo and puzzle for my very patient nephew who was w/ me

I always buy a yearly planner there... the same ones are sold for $10 in other stores.
I also get wrapping paper, gift bags, tins for cakes/cupcakes, and sometimes I buy Gizzy toys there. They often have the rope dog toys.

I recently went to the new Dollar Tree and it was great!
I bought:
Scrapbook stickers
chips & snacks
paper plates
cards
candles
gardening gloves
tissues
We did good.

I haven't been to one in ages, but I like to go there to get gift bags and tissue paper, aluminum pans, stainless steel sink strainers and el cheapo tools like screw drivers, etc.
I remember once buying cashmere 'LIKE' scarves and I gave them to my Mom and sister. They loved them! who knew?
