What do you do to ease PMS symptoms?
Since not being on BCP I have had such sore boobs and lower back pain.
I know cutting caffeine and exercise helps (I gave up coffee and I work out on a regular basis). What else can I do? Last month was a doosy!!!

Not much you can do for the soreness, but I use thermacare pads on my back and those often help.
Midol is good for bloating/cramping too.

Usually taking 2 Aleve does the trick for me.
Othewrise, 2 Motrin (the orange pill) works also.
And then followed by a hot cup of tea.....and I'm good to go.

J - I SWEAR by Motrin! I usually take 3 (I'm way bigger than you are - you should take 2) and within a half hour, I feel so much better!
Also - a nice long hot shower - you know, as long as you're not at work or anything!
Feel better!

Re: What do you do to ease PMS symptoms?
I have always had horrible PMS cramps that would confine me to a bed since i was 11. My english teacher carried me to the nurse twice in high school. The only thing that helped me was to take 2 Naproxen Sodium, put a ThermaCare neck wrap on my stomach and take a nap, I would wake up feeling much better. The ThermaCare for menstral cramps never seemed to touch the right places like the neck wraps did. Weird but whatever worked.
