What do you do w/old books?
I have a ton of books that I bought that I probably won't read again. Does anyone know of a book trade? I have all of the Shopaholic books, Something Borrowed, Something Blue... etc.
I'd love to trade them w/someone and get something new to read. Any thoughts?

I either pass them along to other people and tell them to read it and keep it or keep passing it along. You can also sell them on Amazon.com.

www.paperbackswap.com
I love it. They don't have to be paperbacks. You list your books and you get three credits to request books to start. Then as people request your books, you mail them media mail to them and you can get more credits to request more books.
Put charon54 referred you and I get a credit.
Thanks!
ETS: Those books you named are really popular on there, so they probably will be requested right away.

Re: What do you do w/old books?
There is a book trade box at work, just drop one in and take one out. I don't tend to buy books, I usually go to the library.

Re: What do you do w/old books?
I pass them on with a request for that person to pass the book along to someone else or donate to a library when they're done.
I think one of the best things you can do is pass on a good book to someone who appreciates it.

Re: What do you do w/old books?
I joined Paperbackswap.com and got rid of a lot on there. I also post the more popular ones here and if anyone wants I send it to them. If all else fails they go to the library.

Well, I am not sure of any other locations-- but they are in the city on like 11th and University. They are the largest used book store in NY-- if not the US/world.... I sold a ton of books and they just wrote me a check.
I had been looking for a place to donate-- and couldn't find anything as easy as dropping the books off at the store, and them giving me money for it.

I always just give them away....I never read books twice and am too lazy to try and sell them.
