Re: What do you do with all the PICTURES you take of DC?
I put a lot on a flash drive and upload them all to Shutterfly just in case - I like knowing they are somewhere even if they aren't the best quality in case the pics get lost - I have a ton I need to put there soon....

I put them in a folder on the computer, burn them to a disk & upload them to my photobucket. Once or twice a year when I get good deals from Snapfish I'll print a massive amount of photos & put them in albums.

I upload them all to my computer and store them in folders by month.
I email a ton of pics to my husband in Afghanistan each week so that he can see DS growing and changing and upload a bunch to Facebook so that friends and family can see too.
I like the snapfish idea though -- I should definately start making photo books!

Re: What do you do with all the PICTURES you take of DC?
DS is only 6, and I currently have 40GB of photos.... No CDs for me....
I have them sorted by DC, then year, then month, and any other events are also separated.
I have them stored on my internal drive at home, external at home, laptop, internal at work, external at work, and some on-line. I update all the drives after every major camera download.
I'm a firm believer in no hard-copies. Hard copies deteriorate with age, are affected by temperature and humidity, and would be destroyed by floods and fire. Electronic copies in multiple sites avoids all of these issues. Plus, I have never looked at any of my physical photo albums from my pre-digital cameras. I look at my digital ones quite often. While I'm on my PC, I can just pop open a folder an peruse some pics. Not so easy with hard copies.

Oooh, that's sad
I am the first to admit that I don't print as often as I should, but I have to say that when my grandparents passed away, we found that my grandpa had made an album of each of us for the year we were born and it is one of my true treasures....as well as a photo of my grandparents on their honeymoon.
Its not the same *just* online

I store them all on my computer by month. I upload them to shutterfly or snapfish and send out a link for family and friends to enjoy.
I then print the "best of the best" and keep them in albums and print duplicates for both sets of grandparents.
