What do you drink....Hyperemesis mommies Help!
So my ketones are on the way back up. I need to get hydrated fast or its back to hospital for me..
What do you drink-So far crystal light was working but not anymore.

Thats a tough one because I couldnt even keep water down - but DH forced me to drink power aid, which I hated, but I do remember it staying down....

Only Gatorade and only the lemon lime, ORange and Lemonade ones work ok for me when its that bad. And gingerale sipped slowly.
Powerade tastes like medicine to me. but I drink it now anyway.
NO water. I cant tolerate it.

i don't qualify for hyperemesis, but i've had some pretty bad sickness as of late.
gatorade - find the flavors that work for you.
ginger ale wasn't great, but root beer did the trick for me for a while.
water is the devil's drink.

so so true. Everyone says it. Its so weird.
Wanted to also add.
Warm coke also worked for me.
Not good to live on, but a can is ok if it gets you some sugar and some fluids.

i'm not in this situation, but i wanted to share that i have bought gatarade in powder form, in orange and fruit punch, and i think it's pretty good. you can control the level of sweetness/flavor tht way. i'm thinking that may help some of you ladies.

Ditto on everything here. And don't gulp ANYTHING.
And I totally agree with the water....when you feel better, you can drink all of the water you want, right now, drink gatorade.
My doctor said to forget what is bad for you at that point, it more important to get something IN you.

Definitely not hyperemesis for me but warm, flat coke sipped slowly may help. They used to manufacture coke syrup for when you had the stomach virus and I remember it working too, just FYI. Also, DH has been buying me vitamin water (glaceau) in revive (fruit punch flavor. It has Vitamin B and potassium. I drink it slowly and it keeps me hydrated. I hope you feel better.

I'm doing pretty well with crystal light right now. But everything has to be room temp. and I have to drink through a straw.
