What do you give your 8 month old to eat BESIDES baby food
What other things do you add in. Thought this might be a helpful post:
We give her a few cheerios after her regular breakfast and some puffs.
But thinking maybe we can add more in.

at that age, I gave miki pretty much anything we were eating, in small pieces
she was 100% off baby food at 8 months (she never really liked it much)

I am mashing a lot of stuff now...like banana's and avacado. You can probably try giving small pieces of that too since it's soft.
I know it sounds gross, but you can steam some stuff...like carrots...and cut into pieces.
I like to still give anything soft or disolvable.
