What do you look forward to most as Summer approaches?
I ordered a Greek Wrap today for lunch and the tomato was actually red and juicy!
Made me realize summer is really right around the corner.
What do you look forward to most?
This year:
The birth of our first child
Every year:
fresh veggies from the garden
weekend bbq's
pool
annual family vacation

I think in Summer I am a "happier" person!! More relaxed! I look foward to the beach, hanging out at the boat & going fishing.

We never do anything really special in the summer. All of those things like boating, etc sound like so much fun.

I agree with the poster who said they are just "happier" in the summer.
I know I am.
When it's warm (or even hot) out in the morning I just feel alive....
I love wearing summer clothes-skirts with no stockings, sandals, bathing suits and shorts, tee shirts, tank tops - all of it.
Going outside without a jacket.
The POOL
Laying outside and reading a book
HOT summer nights
Mojitos and all those summery drinks.
BBQing
Just EVERY single aspect of summer!
(Now if only it would get out of the 40's and 50's I'd be happy.!!!!)

Flip flops
BBQs every weekend
Eating outside
Frozen drinks
Sangria (it always tastes better in the summer)
Long after-dinner walks when it's dusk

Our family vacation, we don't go away but it's still nice to relax at home and do fun local stuff.
Flip-flops....my feet say "aaaaah!!!"
BBQs
Baseball
Freshly mowed grass
Still being warm after the sun goes down
Eating ice cream for dinner without feeling guilty bc it's just too hot!!

This is the first summer in the past 3 years that i wont be stuck in a classroom or lab all summer! 
I'm also a much happier person in the summer!!
I have 4 day weekends through the end of July, DH will be taking alot of 3 day weekends, and we're looking forward to spending alot of time laying on the beach!!
BBQs
Flip flops, summer nights, spending more time outside, evening walks, longer days, pina coladas
i really love everything about summer

-Fridays OFF from now til August (summer schedule... I work at a college  )
-Going home to NY for a week in June
-Our 2nd wedding anniversary
-Moving into our first home in June (renovating it now)
-July 4th weekend
