what do you think about marble floors in a bathroom?
I found an inspiration pic for a bathroom. It has gorgeous gray marble floors - will they be too slippery???

all tile is slippery, marble is just more slick with water. I would do it! just be careful

My dad's new condo is all marble floors (even in the closets)
I think it would be fine- just get a bath rug

My brother is a contractor. He doesn't like to do marble bathroom floors because they are very slippery. We have tile floors with marble counter tops in the bathroom which is a very nice look, I think.

My master has marble floors. Not anymore slippery than my daughters bathroom which has tile. I have bathmats down and they catch most of the water. I think I have photos in my house album.

Parents condo in FL have marble in the bathrooms LOVE the look...honestly I think my tile at my house is just a slippery

My dad was a stone sub-contractor. He built commercial and residential buildings in the City. Every house we lived in growing up always had a marble bathroom. They were beautiful and no more slippery than a tile bathroom.

I have marble floor in both my bathrooms. I just have a little bath rug down when we get out. It is fine-no accidents so far!

I have no problem w marble floors, but if I was gonna go all out for the expensive stuff, I'd also get some kind of under-the-floor heating for it too.

I have marble in my bathrooms. It isn't slippery. However, it does get cold in the winter.

I'm not a fan of any smooth tile surface because of how slippery it gets, so I went with a tumbled stone (travertine). We also installed radiant heating to help speed up the drying process (and warm up our tootsies.  )
If you're interested in Marble, they do sell tumbled marble.
