Thanks!! She found something she liked a little over her price range and was wondering if she could swing it.

Re: What do you think electric would be for a 2 bedroom apartment?

I used to pay $60-70 in the winter and $80-100 in the summer with a/c. Since con-ed raised their rates, it is closer to $90 w/o a/c Chat Icon

Re: What do you think electric would be for a 2 bedroom apartment?

We paid 45 dollars a month for our one bedroom in Prt Jeff station.

A lot depends on how much in electric- heat, stove, water heater, etc. If those are all electric the bill will be higher.

I have a 2 bedroom apt, and during the summer it's a little over $100, in the winter last year it was about $75 or $80 (a LOT higher than the year before!).

We don't have electric heat, and we have energy-saving lightbulbs in all the fixtures, though.

Thanks guys!!!

Seems like $100 would be a good estimate....i'll let her know. She's looking for something that has utilities included but needs an estimate just incase they're not.
