What do you think the definition of sexy is?
Just thought I would put this out there.
My friend and I were having a discussion at lunch and she feels its being thin and dressing a little more provacative. I said it doesnt matter what size you are its how you are, ie: confident, self-assured, well groomed, etc.
What do you think?

I agree w/ you. I don't find thin to be sexy at all (too thin especially). I think it's a feeling of confidence, reassurance, and feeling good about oneself... That's what I think portrays sexy anyway.

"Beauty (or sexy, in this case) is in the eye of the beholder" I've seen a lot of women that the media claims are "sexy", but they really aren't.... Why is a tall, pre-pubescent boy look, sexy? 
Sometimes clothes that are too revealing aren't sexy.
It varies so much, depending on your audience, it's not even worth worrying about. As long as YOU feel sexy, or pretty, or whatever you want to feel like, that's all that matters.

There is no definition of sexy. I think it varies from person to person.
On a woman, ny definition of sexy stems from confidence, knowing your body (whatever size) and knowing what works for you. A dress that is super sexy on America Ferrera may not be sexy on Cameron Diaz, and vice versa. I also think its sexy to reveal one part of your body (Cleavage, leg, thigh, etc...) and cover up the rest.
i also think that the sexiest thing for woman to reveal is her back.

I don't think being thin has anything to do with it really. As long as you feel good in what you're wearing(and don't have muffin top hanging out) that is part of being sexy. Intelligence, great conversation, eyes, hair: it can all make you sexy.

This is soooo in the eye of the beholder!! I am 8 months PG and do not in the least little bit feel sexy or think I look sexy - but DH has a completely different opinion.

Sexiness is so subjective. It's different for everyone. So what you're friend finds sexy isn't wrong, it's just not what you find sexy.
I agree though that for the most part, sexiness is something that comes from within and isn't what's on the outside... for ME, that's sexy. Va-Va-VOOOOM!

absolutely how you carry yourself. its definitely an inner confidence that shines through. there are so many men and women who primp and preen to fit the technical form of sexy and they just dont pull it off. i love it when someone doesnt have to try!
