What do you think this means?
A new 4th grade boy said this to the teacher's assistant in our self-contained class when they were explaining the rules for asking to use the bathroom. When he was told that after lunch the whole class goes down the hall to the bathrooms and the students are allowed to go if they need to he responded by saying, "Good, I have to let the dogs out". Forgive us for not knowing exactly what he was referring to but it made interesting chat in the faculty room. If he said, "Drop the kids off at the pool" we would have been sure....

I get that but I don't get why it would be used in reference to taking a pee....makes no sense. When going to the bathroom does someone really say something like I am going to use the three piece set?

Re: What do you think this means?
Yeah, I don't know. I thought it referred to #2 but a bunch of other teacher's thought it referred to taking a pee. My husband also thought he meant take a pee b/c it was plural.
