what do you wash dishes with?
I use sponges but they totally gross me out because I feel like they smell after a couple of uses. What do you use?

i use like a brush thing.. its one of those that you can fill the handle with soap.... i don't fll the handle with soap because it just ends up leaking out ( i just put the soap on the brush) LOL but i feel like the brush bristles just get less grimy than the sponge, and seems to dry out better in between washing things...
the idea of the sponge in the dishwasher is good, too! have to try that one!

I use a sponge...don't have a dishwasher, but I nuke it for 30 seconds after each use. The heat from the microwave kills germs.

Sponges. And I nuke them (wet of course) for 2 minutes every few days. They still get smelly, so we toss them and use a new one a lot!

I nuked them several times a day for at least 2 minutes. They get tossed about once a week.

If you completly rinse them out so there is no soap in there they don't smell at all. I nuke it for 30 seconds every once in a while.

Dobie Pads.
They go in the dishwasher then the microwave 3x per week.
I use the sponge to clean the counters --- also dishwashed and microwaved 3x per week.

dishwasher, I use Cascade. hand washing pots and crystal a Dobie pad that I replace every few weeks.
I wipe the counters down with windex or fantastic and paper towels.
