What does CD3 blood work look for?
Hey girls will AF showed her face on may 10th so i have an appt for CD3 blook work monday at 1015 and i have to fast. They said they are doing a sono as well. What are they looking for? do you meet with RE by anychance... just wondering how i go about telling her our decision to start clomid with HSG and do IUI this round.

CD3 they take blood to get a baseline for FSH/LH and E2 (estogen). The sono looks to see how your uterus and ovaries look. Make sure nothing weird (like a cyst left over from last month).
After that you should request, if they dont' tell you, to see your RE or a nurse. Sometimes they are so used to getting you in/out they may forget. Just be forward, they see a ton of people all day. They're only human.
They can talk to you about it, give you a clomid prescription, but you will have to wait for your blood test to come back to start anything. They call later with instructions.
But, if they want you to do an hsg first then you may have to wait for those results. You can only do an HSG from CD7-10. It all depends on your RE also.

I agree with all of the above. Also if they told you to fast they are going to be testing your insulin and blood sugar levels.
