Army Crawling: think of those movies you see where the soldiers are crawling across the ground using their forearms to pull them along.
Cruising: I like the explanations below better

Army Crawling: think of those movies you see where the solders are crawling across the ground using their forearms to pull them along.
Cruising: I think that this can be a few different things.
*Crawling: on all fours (they go fast)
*Walking
cruising to me means walking while holding onto something (couch, table, etc)

Army crawling is what Ang-Rich said - Jake did that for AWHILE so I know it well.
Cruising I know as walking but only while holding on to walls, furniture and walking toys.
