What does your belly measure?
I have been measuring the circumference of my belly - just because I'm curious.
Does anyone else do this?
I am currently 25 weeks and 2 days and measuring in at 39 1/2 inches around 
Anyone else?

no,I go by the measurement the doctor does each week. Pelvic to top of uterous.

At my last appointment (this past Monday) I was 18cm. She said it's right on track, you should be the same as the week you are in which was my 18th week at that point.

correct, that is what I go by. she is measuring horizontal, not top to bottom. Am I correct in this? or did I read it wrong?

you read it correct.
my last appointment I was 25 weeks and measured 24cm

You measure to the fundus.....pubic bone to top of uterus. I don't get the same measurement as my Dr. They have me measuring 1 week behind.

That's so funny that you posted this today.
I never have, but my coworker who sits next to me looked over and asked the same thing and I said no, and of all things, she pulled out a tape measure she happened to have at her desk, so I measured around the circumference of the largest part of my belly today.
29 weeks and 40 inches!!!
My dr has never taken measurements but I get a sono every week so I assume they would do one or another to measure the growth of the baby!
