What does your child's birth certificate look like??
I feel stupid asking this but I had totally forgotten about it til now. I just had to take it our because we are flying this week. DD's birth certificate is on a plain piece of white computer paper. It has a raised seal, but it just seems so flimsy. They don't make them anymore on the yellowish paper like when we were younger? Or did I not ever get the right one? Thanks!!

Yes, this is what my children have as well....completely different than what ours looks like...I liked the ones that have a little color.

my dds I just got and its no longer on the yellow paper, its on a thicker kind of computer paper with raised seal and blue certificate.

My DD's looks so plain. It's just a computer printed piece of paper. It looks so unofficial. Definitely not like they used to look.

Here in CT, we just get a copy of the birth certificate. If we want an official one (with seals) we have to go to the city's town record and pay ($10.00) for an official one. Its printed in a nice paper with borders on it. My DD was born on a different town about 35 miles from where we live but they (our town) can print it, so i didn't have to drive to the other town to get the copy. I guess all the towns and cities are now connected. CT also offers a wallet size certificate ($5.00) , where it has all my DD's birth facts i.e name, DOB, place of birth, registration date, SFN (don't know what this stands for) . I got one of this wallet size when we went to Disney. I just wanted to some kind of ID of hers even though we didn't need it for flying.
