what foundation do you wear if you have acne?
So maybe you saw my previous post not too long ago about my recent acne flare ups...I have tried a new cleanser that one of you suggested, but nothing is changing. I am going to call the dermatologist tomorrow and make an appointment. I was trying to avoid that because I know they are going to suggest i take meds, but I really was hoping i could solve this problem without harsh meds :(
i know i need new make up....can anyone suggest a great foundation with good coverage for acne? I know i need something non comedogenic and i'd like something that is fairly natural. TIA

what foundation do you wear if you have acne?
lancome tient idole are vissionaire and my two fave foundations. $$ but worth it.

Chanel. But have you tried Blueprint Green Juice. I have cured my acne by drinking one a day. It has six pounds of kale in it. I have recommended it to two other people with acne and they agree: not one break out after using it. You buy it at Whole Foods.

Ditto!! I also always mix it with moisturizer directly on my face because otherwise it's too dry for me. Yes, I have dry skin and yet still get an occasional breakout!  Ah, the irony!

All I can wear on my face is BB cream and Bare Minerals. I have HORRENDOUS skin- cysts, scars, zits, etc. It's the only thig that works for me that provides coverage and doesn't make the problem worse.
FWIW- have you tried Proactiv? Honestly I've used every medication under the sun and many different over the counter treatments and its really the only thing that works for me. I also really liked Mario Badescu but I need a stronger cleanser. You also need to make sure its not what you're eating. Nuts, Dairy, Chocolate, Coffee, Soda and anything heavy in oil or fat can cause breakouts. Sometimes red meat makes me breakout.

Mineral powders cover surprisingly well. I found Bare Minerals & Physicans formula ( drugstore) worked well for me & helped stop breakouts.
Hourglass is also supposed to be good for skin. I don't breakout much anymore, but their mineral primer makes my skin just look better overall all many people with acne say it works for them. I use the mineral Veil & Liquid Powder foundation.
It is very expensive though, but you can sometimes find a travel size of the primer in Sephora.
Liquid foundations with sunscreen may make it worse.
If you just want heavy coverage, MAC Studio Finish Concealer with Lancôme Teint Idole works well.
The concealer works well under mineral powders too.

what foundation do you wear if you have acne?
I had horrid acne including cysts and proactive saved my skin. I absolutely call it a wonder drug. Hopefully it will work for you too.

I have tried so many over the years and surprisingly the one I I found to be the best is Ulta's Mineral foundation. And it's inexpensive!

A lot of the products that have been mentioned in this thread don't work all that well for me and tend to make me break out more. 
I've been a Revlon Colorstay user for a LONG time (because it helped cover my scars & blemish and didn't make me break out.) I often try other products, but I find myself always coming back to Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation.
I'm also a big MUFE fan, but I like their Face & Body Foundation. Their HD line makes me breakout.
