What gets you excited about TTC?
6+ months in, it has to be trying out new tips and tricks. How sad is that? This month, I'm armed with pre-seed and instead cups for the first time and I'm actually really excited about it. I find if I try something new each month, it's like an experiment to see what will work

Pre-seed has made it much better! 
4+ months in it has gotten a bit more disheartening. It's not that I am not excited anymore, because I definitely am--but it's like I expect a BFN now. I no longer spend all day imagining myself PG like I did the first couple months. It was too much of a letdown.

Well first it was OPKs, then CBEFM, then temping/charting.
Next was Pre, then Instead Cups, then Mucinex.
This month was HSG.
ITA that adding something new each month gives me new hope and makes me feel like this MIGHT just be our month!

once i started using PRE... i actually felt better about the upcoming months.. it really does help!

With me it's been OPK's, pre-seed, vitex, soy and now the pre-seed/instead cups combo.
I'm worried I'm going to run out of 'something new' !

I agree about starting something new. I know it's a little different, but starting clomid made me excited, and when that didn't work, starting injectibles made me excited..
you know you've been at it awhile when the idea of stabbing yourself in the stomach everyday excites you...
