What gift do we give for a Christening?
Fh's stepsister is having the Christening for her son this Sunday. What is an appropriate gift? Thanks!

We usually give savings bonds...the amount depends on the people.

I usually give a savings bond but, I have gone to oneshare.com and bought a share in Disney for a couple of children.

my son ws just christened...most of the gifts we received were $$ and 1 bond...and my mom went crazy with summer clothes
my BIL gave us an ice carving for the party, and my sister got the baby his outfit and cross

I would give at least $100, so that would be a $150 bond since it is an immediate family member.
