What happened to my good napper???
DD is five months old, and just cut TWO teeth w/in the past week. She usually naps fine in her crib, and even her swing. For the past week or so, she will ONLY nap in her carseat in the snap n go, and has to be rocked to put to sleep. I've tried the crib, pnp, swing - and she wants nothing to do with it. She's really not in that much pain, because when she's up, she's pretty content. At this point, I am just rocking her in the stroller because she needs sleep. Am I creating a monster by starting this? Will this create a bad habit? Or is she just not herself because of the teething?

Re: What happened to my good napper???
let the teething thing happen for a little longer but then try to get back to your old groove of having her nap in the crib. i think if you start doing these things like rocking etc at 5 months and she prefers it-it could be hard to break. if she is feeling ok and you know she is, then try doing the crib again! good luck!

Re: What happened to my good napper???
I'm feeling the same way. DS just cut his first tooth as well and normally he would be a very good napper, but getting him to go down this week has been difficult. Not to mention the fact that we lowered his mattress as well. I think he is having a hard time adjusting to everything at once. I am going to keep putting him in his crib though, and hopefully he will go back to being my great napper.

I feel the same way! At five months, I'm afraid I'll start a habit that's going to be hard to break. I'll give it a little longer with the teething, and then try the crib again. Just when things were going smoothly, the teething messes it all up!! Welcome to motherhood!!
