What helped you deal with morning sickness?
I've been doing ginger ale and crackers.
Is there anything that worked for you that you could recommend?

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
The preggie pops helped me a little. honestly, I had acupuncture done to help with the morning sickness and heartburn. It was the only thing that worked. I did eat very, very plain foods. English muffins, toast with a small pat of butter, plain pasta, etc.
Try eating small snacks every few hours. Also, ginger is supposed to help with morning sickness as well. Try getting Canada Dry. It has real ginger in it. I hope you feel better.

fresh lemon squeezed into water, and these! They're ginger biscuits - taste like gingerbread.
I can only find them @ walgreen's.

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
I think the Sea Bands are really helping me this week, have you tried them? The main thing with them is you MUST be sure it's in exactly the right spot.. so if you feel like it's not working, slightly move it.

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm going to the store to grab a few of these....
I guess I'm lucky that I haven't actually gotten sick but feeling all day is not fun!

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
Those Sea Bands helped me a lot... got them at Rite Aid.
Also, Ginger candies & ginger tea. I got mine from a dollar store... if you live near Central Islip, I can recommend a great dollar store that I got a ton of them (tea & candies) at. Those helped significantly.

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
carbs seemed to help me a lot. and sometimes greasy foods. it seemed like anything that was good in college when hungover was good during the first trimester

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
I'm 7.5 weeks and have been feeling nausea since 6 weeks. I've been using the Sea Bands and eating white foods. Juice seems to help me too

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
Eating frequent, small meals. Avoiding getting too hungry and avoid over eating was key for me.

Re: What helped you deal with morning sickness?
Honestly, the Sea Bands worked miracles. I threw up once, ran to Walgreen, put them on - and was fine after that. Little bouts of nausea here and there but nothing too bad.

This worked for me too. I'm still throwing up every morning, but the nausea is gone. As long as I eat often I'm okay.
