Hey Nance - honey works miracles on coughs. I use it for Ryan whenever he has a cough and it really seems to soothe the cough.

I thought they werent allowed to have honey? My mom and I were trying to figure this out. I just let the cough ride itself out.

After 1 yr old they can.
ETA: Its better than any cough medicine i have ever tried.

I'm another one for the miracle of honey.
I give it to my girls for sore throats and coughs, and i take it myself.
Best stuff and it tastes so yummy!!
ETA: I always run the cool mist to keep it moist in their room when they are sick.

Steam baths/showers
Vapor plug ins (my favorite)
and I'll still stand by the old wives tale of Vicks on the bottom of the feet!
