What I did this month before my BFP and some symptoms
Just wanted to share with you guys what I did this month - who knows if any of it worked but it can't hurt right?!
I used the OPKs. Starting CD12 we BD'd every other day until I got my on CD18. We then BD on CD18 and CD19.
Once I got my smiley I started taking baby aspirin and Vitamin B12 for about 5 days.
My DH ate a ton of celery starting a few days before I got my smiley. He did research and it says it helps with male sperm count...who knows if that's true.
My cousin who was TTC for years told me to eat Salmon so I had salmon three nights in the week of my positive OPK.
I drank a ton of water this month.
As for signs or symptoms I have been sick with the flu so I really thought everything was flu related but on Friday night in a matter of two minutes trying to decide what to eat for dinner I wanted: Cheeseburger, tacos, chicken sandwich, onion soup, tomato soup with rice, ice cream, and cheese. This was in a two minute span - DH was going to kill me.
I also felt little twinge like cramps which is unusal since I don't feel them until AF arrives. I pushed it to the back of my mind because I was so sick so I thought my body was just falling apart lol.
I woke up three mornings in a row starving with a rumbling stomach. Again, chalked it off to the flu and not eating enough the night before.
I think that's really all - I will def. update if anything else comes to mind!
Thanks again everyone - babydust to ALL!
ETA: I got a BFP on 11DPO/CD30. My cycles range from 30-34 days!

Thanks so much for sharing! I have never heard of the Salmon part, but since I love Salmon I might try it next week.
Also, how much Baby Asprin do you take? And are there chewable kinds or do you take the liquid?

Re: What I did this month before my BFP and some symptoms
This is what I found online on taking baby aspirin. I also figured it can't hurt!
Why take baby aspirin? Well, I believe it does suppress natural killer cells in the uterus, so it is used for those with immune problems. It has other effects on the immune system that I don't fully understand - I will try to find out more. But, it also improves blood flow to the ovaries, improving follicle development, and improves blood flow to the uterus, improving the quality of the uterine lining. This increases the odds that implantation will be successful. Also, during pregnancy, it will help to prevent mc or fetal demise in those prone to blood clots. Having blood clots form in the placenta and/or umbilical cord in the cause of many of these pg losses.
There's a great article in People magazine (the one with Di on the cover) about a women who had failed many IVF, presumably due to a weak uterine lining. Her sister agreed to be a surrogate but they also decided to give both women a few embryos. They both got pregnant. They said they don't know why this worked when all other attempts had failed but they think it was due to her starting to take baby aspirin 2 weeks before the transfer.
A good friend of mine just got pregnant after 10+ years of infertility (PCOS). It was a complete surprise. They were even using condoms!! But, they only thing different she did was she started taking daily aspirin for an unrelated reason several weeks before conception!

I just want to put this out there...
Personally, I wouldn't take baby aspirin unless recommended by your doctor.

I took one St. Josephs a day -- the pills are soooo teeny.

I did ask my doctor this and she said that it won't hurt to take it but she doesn't really believe that it will help either!

I didn't mean you, I just didn't want baby aspirin to become the new trend.. KWIM?
I have heard of people starting to take them, getting PG, and then their doctor MAKES them keep taking them because now they don't know what would happen if they stopped... KWIM? (Even though they may not have needed them in the first place).... Does that make sense?

If this is what you did we are screwed! DH absolutely despises celery and I'm allergic to fish.

Do you think the baby asprin has the same effect as Mucinex?

Congrats Diana! I am so happy for you! Have a happy & healthy 9!!

nope.. baby asprin is used to prevent premature/early miscarriages. IT ALSO PREVENTS STROKES! Unfortunately my family learned this the hard way.. Anyway- the OB & high risk OB I go to say that baby asprin is the most beneficial, yet unused, remedy out there. They strongly suggest people take it regularly for numerous blood issues. Just check with your dr first...
