What I thought about my c-section....what to expect!
I have been reading through some posts and notice quite a few people worried about inductions/c-sections. I just thought I'd share what I thought about my c-section, since you all know I was 100% prepared for a vaginal delivery and knew NOTHING about c-sections since I didn't bother to research about them.
All I have to say is that for any of you ladies who are worried about getting one, DON'T. It really is such an easy way to have your baby! If it werent' for the 34.5 hours of laborious hell before the section, I think I would've been back to myself already! It's been only 9 days and I'm already back to my old self (minus the major activity since I have to take it easy)! I am healing nicely and really do not have ONE complaint about the section. It was fast (they said, "I see your little girl" in about 7 minutes) and then before I knew it was being rolled into recovery! There was some pressure, but no pain whatsoever. The first few days are hard because you don't realize how much you use your abs for and are constantly straining your stomach as you try to do easy tasks such as sitting on the toilet or getting into and out of bed. It really is NOTHING like what I expected and am happy to know that for future babies I can plan a section!
Hope that this eased some of your minds....I just thought to myself as reading some posts that it was me a week ago that was scared out of my mind about delivering a baby because I did not know what to expect and would've liked to have something to read about to make me feel better!

Thanks so much! I am having twins, so I have a higher chance of having a c-section and am scared to death about it! This helped ease my mind a bit

I 1000000% agree. I had a C-section and was 5 weeks early. I was scared to death because all my friends were telling me how horrible their recover time was....... The C section was a piece of cake......and so was the recovery!!! I came home on a Monday and I was doing laundry on Tuesday (not over doing it though). I think as long as you get up and walk around like they tell you to you'll be fine!!!
