What is a good gift idea for a 90 yr old women
My dear Aunt Rosie is turning 90 this 4th of July. We are throwing her a big birthday bash....because lets face it not many people make it to 90.
My aunt Rosie is still a spicy spunky little women. You would never ever think that is 90.
I'm really stumped on the actual gift. She has more clothes that anyone I know. 4 closets full...so she doesn't need anymore clothes.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

does she still live on her own? maybe a gift card for a grocery store to help her out with food costs, or even one for a nice restaurant to go out to dinner.... or maybe find out where she gets her hair cut/done and get a gift certificate for her to get her hair done. i would go with a practical gift...
lol i know DHs grandmom just turned 85, and she doesn't need anymore "stuff" at that age

maybe a GC for merry maids or one of those, or a digital picture frame with pics of the kids in the family.
I don't know if she lives nearby or if you see her often, but the older people in my family really appreciate time. Maybe you could arrange to take her food shopping a few times, or take her to a beauty salon instead of just a GC.

The problem is that she currently lives in MASSENA NY...which is a small and old town. My aunt's hair dresser is in her 70's...and I kind of doubt that she has gift certificates available.
The other issue is that we are trying to get my aunt to move down here....because she has out lived all the family in MASSENA and we hate the idea that she is alone, especially when a holiday comes around. So since I'm not sure were she is going to be living...I'm not sure were to get her a gift certificate to.
