what is a good main entree to serve for a christmas dinner party among friends?
Every year my friends and i have a Christmas party. The hosting rotates each year and it;s my turn again.
Can anyone suggest a good main course entree?

I'm NOT good with food prep and timing and cooking a formal dinner makes me SO nervous - I stick w/ stuff I know I can do well, and I can prep beforeahand -
Homemade sauce w/ saussage and meatballs, lasagna, eggplant parmigiano, tossed salad, a full antipasto for an appetizer .........
I'm also Italian though 
For some reason, I can NOT cook meat !!

You can do a turkey and brisket so you have the best of both or turkey and sweedish meatballs.

You could do ziti, penne a la vodka and lasagna.
Or you can roast beef, serve with mashed potatoes, salad and another veggie with bread/biscuits or something.

On Christmas Eve we usually have spiral honey ham, on Christmas Day we have lasagna.

Christmas eve is fish and you can prepare so many things for a nice casual night!
antipasta platter
tre colori salad
cold seafood salad
lobster ravioli with a pink sauce and shrimp
garlic bread
wine
dessert. the end
