What is a good threadcount for Egyptian cotton sheets?
I just got a set of 450 count at Costco yesterday. Is that good?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news- but thread count is a meaningless number
the type of cotton and the finsh are far more important
I sat thru 2 years of fabric science classes- and this is all I got of of it
make sure it's 100% egyptain cotton

make sure it's 100% egyptain cotton
Definitely agree with Beth. Make sure to see that it is a 100% egyptian cotton also.

I worked at Linens&things for a summer and was told that is def. true!
Still they can up the $$$ of high thread count because everyone THINKS its better quality.
