What is a specal gift to give at my SIL babyshower?
I have already gotten her clothes, Diapers, and toys, and stuff from the registry but I want to get something very special since the baby is my godson... Does anyone have any ideas what to get that is very special! I am very close to my brother and SIL.

Maybe start a savings account for him/her.
My best friend did this for DS, so every birthday/holiday/special event she puts money in there for him to get access to when he's 18. To me, this was a GREAT gift.

Thank you, I plan on doing this as part of my Christening gift. My DD had this done for her christening by her god mother and I thought it was great.

ETA: one of my most favorite baby shower gifts was my Terra Traditions photo album. It's gorgeous and I use it only for their yearly pictures.
This is an example of one. Mine has swarvoski crystals on it.

My sister gave me this frame for my shower. It can be custom made with any color for the frame and bow or bows and if you dont want the crystal brooch they can monogram it for you.
The pillow i purchased for myself and i have it in my daughters crib but hers is pink
The clothes line favor box my sis in law got for me and i have it hanging right outside the nursey and it has my daughters name, birth date, height and weight.
If you like any of this stuff FM and i can tell you where it was purchased from.

My friends bought me a Pandora bracelet with 3 charms- a heart for our friendship, a loveknot for DH and I and a baby carriage for the new baby. Then they bought the initial charm when my DS was born. I love it and think it was very thoughtful of them.

i was at a shower where the mommy-to-be's sister had a really sweet poem about becoming a mommy framed and then read it out at the shower. It was such a cute idea bc she could hang that up in the nursery.
