What is fun to do out east this time of the year
I want to drive out to the Riverhead outlets on Sunday. Normally when I go there it is summer, I drive out and visit the farm stands. I have never been out to the east end during Dec. Just wondering if anything fun is out there? Ect. I know the farm stands are all closed by now, but there must be something fun to do. Any chrismas Tree places? thanks

Not much! It's definately off season out here right now. I'm sure there are some Christmas tree places, but I don't think they are anything like the pumpkin places. I don't know if there is anything on the north shore.

The wineries are still open and a good amount of shops are still open in the towns like Mattituck and Cutchogue.
Also, in Baiting Hollow is the Lobster Roll North Side - there are some shoppes there as well as in Calverton in the J&R's Steakhouse parking lot.

you could always go check out the Long Island Duck - they light him up for the holidays...it's cute!

not a whole lot to do..there are some cut your own tree farms on the North Shore, but thats about it...there is Gingerbread University by the Lobster ROll, where you can make your own gingerbread house.
Other than that, its off-season-not much left to do.
