What is the Beer Garden in queens?

Bar, food? Fun? Not so fun? Dressy? Not dressy?

Should Dh and I go there tonight? Is it more a bar or more of an eatery?

it's as dressy or not as you want to be...I think girls treat it dressing wise as they would any other bar.

food is good, but it's simple Czech/bavarian food....brats, fries etc

beer is awesome

I think it's more on the casual side. It's mainly outside and there are lots of picnic tables set up.

I live around the corner, it's casual. They have a HUGE outside, tons of beer, cash only. Food is very good, heavy but good. Kielbasa, brats, dumplings, czech food...they grill outside when it's nice, and they have a restaurant type menu as well. Lots of fun if you go with a big crowd. It's tons of fun when it's nice out, on weekend afternoons, its gets packed but you just sit on the picnic tables outside and drink pitchers of beer all day. If you want to stay inside, you can, there's the main bar area and a downstairs area with tables, but not alot of them.
