What is the best Infant Pacifier?
I am reluctant to start using one, but I would like to have one in the house if it is totally necessary!!
Advice is appreciated!!

My DD only took the Gerber Nuk
She didn't take one til about 3-4 months old and it was gone by 9 months.
Alot of moms use Soothie's as well as hospitals

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
I used Soothies and they were the only ones he liked. I bought them off ebay because they were the best priced I could find at the time.
He loved the flavored ones too

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
I liked the Avent ones because they are small and didn't look like a big knob sticking out of my son's mouth.

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
You might have to try a few. We tried every one in BRU and my daughter never took to any of them. She always preferred her thumb. My son also never took to any, and he doesn't suck his thumb.

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
We started out with the Soothies, but they kept falling out of her mouth...and at daycare that can be a pain.
So, we switched to the Gerber Nuk and she didn't skip a beat. So, we stuck with them!

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
DD doesn't take the pacifier that often (2x a week for about 10 minutes). When she does take it, it's the Gerber Nuk.

I used a Soothie. But it didn't last long because they both found their thumbs.

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
I used a Soothie for 2 days and they kept popping out so I switched to a Gerber Nuk. Honestly I am a fan of non- latex orthodontic pacifiers. It's better for their bite

Re: What is the best Infant Pacifier?
At first they liked the Avent, but as they got older they would fall out a lot, so Christopher likes the Playtex...Orthopedic.

Us too. What I like is that the whole thing is rubber so he uses the round part as a teether too, sometimes.

My DD loves the Soothie pacifier from the hospital. BRU sells them as well as Target.
