What is the correlation between heartrate and gender again?
I know I've heard this somewhere, but cant remember. We heard the baby's heartbeat today and it was 169bpm. I remember hearing if its over a certain amount its a girl or under a certain amount its a girl. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
And how accurate is it? Is it an old wives tale or does it carry some weight to it??

My co-worker told me the higher the number means it is girl but who knows!

In the beginning my doctor mentioned this and said it is an old wives tale. He said if it holds true you are having twin girls. I am having 2 boys and their heartrate is still high.

Well DD was in the 140's from what I remember - DD#2 has been in the 160's but I think they go down the further along you get. I was talking with the tech and she said she sees just as many boys with high heart rates as girls so it is just an old wives tail.
