What is the difference between a shootie and a bootie?
I hate myself for even asking this question but... who can answer me? And do you wear different stuff with each?

not necessarily... I am seeing alleged "shooties" with closed toes. and just when I think I know what a shootie is, I see something labeled a bootie that I would have sworn was a shootie.

I just googled this. It says the difference is a shootie comes to your ankle & a bootie is a little higher.

"Shootie" is the dumbest word ever. Also not a big fan of the word "bootie", which brings to mind baby's boots, and not something for an adult.

I don't think the designers even know. I saw something labeled "shootie" in DSW and it was just a shoe.
