My DD is almost always in our bed at some point during the night - so it's usually a thought about her..."c'mon, why can't you go back to bed??" or cursing my DH in my head because he seems to sleep thru her waking up - I think it's all an act though.

My son is the best alarm clock.....however I can't lie at the same time I laugh at him babbling away in his crib I'm thinking to myself,oh how I wish I could sleep a little longer!!!

I try to figure out what song my ds is singing in his room. I have my own personal alarm clock but there's no snooze button It usually goes off a little earlier than I'd like
