What is the most flattering .....

dress you have ever seen on a plus-sized bridesmaid???

I know this is wedding related but I trust your opinions here.

I hate my arms so strapless is out.

I need to get one in a chocolate brown and can pick any style.

HELP!!!!!

Re: What is the most flattering .....

my sister is wearing this dress in navy for my wedding.

Its by DaVinci and was very inexpensive, as well. With tax and plus size fee, the dress was $125 from Phyllis at Gownfind/Bridal Elegance.

The DaVinci plus size fees are
+$15 for sz 16W or 18W
+$40 for sz 20W-30W

I had 2 plus sized bridesmaids and they wore Alfred Angelo seperates. I thought they looked great!

Thanks.

Shorty - I love that dress. Did your sister try it on? Does it hide the stomach area? What does the back look like?

She didn't try it - we couldn't find a sample. The back is just a V, like the neckline. We may end up adding a little modesty panel at the neckline - she has a LOT of boobage!

Definitely A line. Maybe something with off the shoulders but those are hard to find. I would say get one with a matching wrap. I hate my arms too....

That is a beautiful dress. You look wonderful. My bridal party were from tiny petites - pluz sizes.

We did something similiar and everyone looked beautiful and was comfortable.

The seperates were a line skirts- the really petite girls ordered more of a mermaid fit.
Everyone ordered the same top- similar to the pic MrsBbk posted but a deep V-with thick straps.

The separates really accented the positive on everyone

Re: What is the most flattering .....

Honestly, everytime I was a bridesmaid and a plus size i would NEVER want to wear a sleeveless dress. I dont not think they are flatering to anyone that has heavy arms.

Try and find something with a little sleeve.
