What is the purpose of a 3/4 length sleeve jacket/coat?
I guess they're "in style", but I think it's kind of dumb. kind of like boots without the toe part

ITA.
i either want to be in a short sleeved shirt if i'm warm, or a long sleeved top if i'm cold. the 3/4 sleeve baffles me.

the one I saw today and tried on was a Spring weight coat, unlined. I don't think I would be wearing gloves with it.

you wear it with a long sleeved sweater or shirt.
I like the look. Especially for Spring.
