What is the strangest thing you have eaten?
I am sure this will be interesting! MIne would have to be either Alligator or Pig's A$$...muy disgusting but my mother would make it when I was small.

Hmm...I've had alligator, octopus, ostrich, buffalo, and turtle. We had to eat a lot of unique things in culinary school.

Ohh Buffalo when I lived in Yellowstone Park that was practically all they ate out there!

Ick! I wasn't a fan of it at all. The ostrich actually wasn't that bad though.

Just the thought of eating anything like the things listed above, makes me gag. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food. I do like black (blood) pudding though.

I worked in the recreation dept out there. When I arrived in May there was still snow on the ground
Other than that it was great. I was in the northwest corner in Mammoth Hot Springs and was right on the Montana border so I spent a lot of time there. Very beautiful country....I had to shoo elk out of my way to get to the Post Office!

Not alligator, cows tounge, or tripe - YUCK
Escargot is yummy, frog legs were like chicken, buffalo meat was really good, a little gamey though and the rabbit sausage was too mixed to taste like anything but sausage.
Oh and I've eaten deer (venecin), doesn;t thrill me

Did you eat Warthog & Springbok in Africa? We didn't try anything exotic in Africa. Although their cattle is a completely different species than our cattle here.
DH & I were hoping for SOMETHING to write home about!
