And being homeless is a big fear of mine.

a painful old age where i can't take care of myself.
i have a dear friend who is older (tomorrow will be her 66th bday) and she's still working at a job she hates. and i can tell when her body hurts her because of age and because of her diabetes.
i'm afraid of that more so than death itself.

is something happening to my Dad- leaving me with out any parents
I have seen my DH survive countless car accidents to the point where I am numb to them- I am not sure if that's good or bad...

i have a few fears.
small places
heights
flying
burning to death
the biggest one of all is blindness. i could lose any of my other senses and cope but being blind would send me over the edge. thats why i'm very vigilant about my sight and have checkups every year.

Currently, it's my nether region being ripped to shreds (I'm due to give birth in 5 days)
Generally, it's something happening to DH, my future child or family.
That said, these "fears" aren't things I think about very often...if at all.

I'm not petrified of dying, just have a long term illness and suffering before dying.
I also worry about not having enough $ for retirement. I'm sure theres other things that don't come to my mind yet, I just don't want to depress myself.
