What is your favorite dinner to have on a cold fall day?
I tend to always make my grandmother's home made corn chowder recipe, im looking for some new idea since fall is pretty much here!

any kind of pasta!!!
or I love a Grill Cheese with tomato and creamy tomato soup!!! They are the best on a cold rainy day!

I like to make homemade chicken pot pie.
My grandmother also makes a great cabbage soup that I absolutely love.
I'm looking forward to making french onion soup this year for the first time.

I recently went to Olive Garden (yea I know) they had this GREAT soup (except it was all salt) and I found a copy cat recipe I want to try:

Ham with stewed apples
Its basically a few granny smith apples sliced up with butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and some water. Put everything in a small pot, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until the apples are stewed and soft. Pour that over ham and serve. Its sooo good on a fall evening.

Pork roast or chops with sauerkraut in the oven. Kielbasa or sausage with potatoes and onions, baked until the onions are carmelized. Mmmmm.

Same here! I am so excited for grilled cheese and tomato soup again! It's the one thing that makes me happy when it's so cold.
