What is your favorite irreverent/non-traditional holiday song?
I love "The 12 Days of a Guido Christmas" and Eric Cartman singing "O Holy Night."

My favorite song is the one by "The Waitresses"...it's like a little story and it totally gets me in the spirit. I forget its name!

Not sure of the title, but it's based on the 12 days of Christmas, but it goes something like
"The first thing at Christmas that's such a pain to me.... is finding a Christmas tree."
There's also "stringing up the lights", "facing my in-laws", etc... :)
ETA: found the gist of the lyrics, but like they mention, the lyrics change as the song progresses, and the singers get more annoyed as they go.... :)
The 12 Pains of Christmas
The first part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: is finding a Christmas tree!
The second part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: hanging up the lights!
The third part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: hangover...
The fourth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: getting Christmas cards!
The fifth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: 5 months of bills!
The sixth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: facing my inlaws!
The seventh part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: buy me this, buy me that....
The eighth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: dealing with the children!
The ninth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: no parking spaces!
The tenth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: batteries not included!
The eleventh part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: all the Christmas Sales!
The twelfth part of Christmas that's such a pain to me: singing Christmas carols!
Fun, huh? A note: each verse was sung by a different character, and as the song progressed, they varied the lines. For example, by the end of the song, character two (hanging up the lights) was instead screaming, "WHY THE HELL ARE THEY BLINKING?!" Too much fun for words.
