Re: What is your living situation?

We rent a one bdrom apt in the city. We plan to stay here until the baby is around 1, maybe a little longer. For now it suits us best as we both work in the city and like living here and actually want to raise the baby in the city. As space becomes a real issue we'll either a get a bigger apt in the city or we'll look for a house in the burbs.

Re: What is your living situation?

We own a home. We bought it just before we got married. We also bought with the intention of it being our forever home so space is not an issue for us.

just curious to see if anyone eles is in my boat. Dh and I live with my parents in there house in there apartment they have. it sucks living in a apartment with a baby on the wayChat Icon

Cant wait for a house

ETA: do you rent a house, apartment?
own a home?
living your parents or DH's parents?
other?

This is our situation! Our apartment is really nice, but I wish we had a second room. We have an office, but my DH kind of needs it. We would love to have a house, and plan on buying one by next summer. My in-laws are great to us, and it will help out alot when the baby comes.

we bought a small house right after our wedding in 06. We love it here, but if we want more kids after this one, we will have to expand or move.

Re: What is your living situation?

We closed on our first house in August, so we've only been here a few months! Worked out well in terms of having plenty of room for baby(ies)

We have a similar situation. We also want to move to a better school district but will manage until Chat Icon completes elementary school. I don't think we want more children after this though. I guess to be continued..........

Re: What is your living situation?

We bought our house about 4 months ago..I am happy to be settled in a home especially because it is close to my parents. But I always think that if we had the baby while we were still in our apt in Queens, we could have made it work...

Re: What is your living situation?

We own our own home. It's a small 3 bedroom ranch and we've lived here close to 4 years. It's okay for one child but we will have to expand if we're lucky enough to be blessed with another child.
