what is your meal plan for the day?
i feel like it is so hard to make sure I have all the right things in my food for the day. right amount of calories, protein, carbs, sugar....its overwhelming. what do you eat?

I'm training for a half marathon so I'm on a high protein/high carb diet.
Breakfast: (around 6:30AM) egg whites and fat free cheese on a whole wheat wrap fruit on the side
Morning snack (8:30AM) chobani greek yogurt
Mid-morning Snack (around 10/11 AM): cup of dry Kashi go lean cereal
Lunch (Noon): (varies) salad with FF dressing whole wheat pasta salad baby carrots a sandwich
I dont eat an afternoon snack b/c I need to digest for my run/workout.
4-6: run/workout etc.
Post-workout: protein shake and fruit
Dinner (7ish): varies. I try to include alot of protein though
I tend to eat more in the AM.

I eat practically the same thing almost every day!
bfast: strawberries & blueberries (a lot) plain greek yogurt sweetened w/stevia
snack: pretzles
lunch: deli flat w/hummus & turkey, lettuce, tomato (or sometimes I use a wrap) & some sort of fruit
snack: pretzels usually, lol or some low fat salty snack
dinner: I eat a lot of veggies (we belong to a CSA so we get veggies every week). So I'd say i eat a huge bowl of veggeis (be it salad, roasted veggies, etc) and I'll eat a small peice of whatever meat I cook for DH (I don't eat much meat...dont really like it)
I then eat some sort of small dessert...a couple of bites of FF ice cream or fruit, graham cracker.

I started dieting 6 weeks ago. I have lost 6 pounds. My diet does vary day to day but here is what I ate today.
Organic flax oatmeal Every morning Coffee with fat free milk
No snacking
Lunch Fresh tomato/mozz ( caprese slice of pizza )
Banana ( snack )
Dinner
Lentil soup with carrots and turkey bacon in it.
Dessert Fudge pop no sugar added
