What is your new goal weight post baby?
I shed off all pregnancy pounds from 2 years of being pregnant....but my body isn't the same. I feel like I have fat deposits where I didn't before, and of course, the flabby skin. This is something I notice and most people would say I am crazy. I realize that this is strictly vanity weight. How many extra pounds did you have to lose post pregnancy to be happy with your body composition? I am 125, so I am going to aim for 120 and then see how I feel then. I will continue running and weight training. This is so frustrating!

Re: What is your new goal weight post baby?
This exactly has happened to me...I lost all baby weight and reached pre pg weight and that was not enough for me anymore, since its not the same.
I used a goal of 10lbs and went back to WW, and right now I lost 9 out of the 10.
Am I happy? yes and no.
I def have seen a difference in my clothes, I have dropped a size or two but looks wise, there is still extra fat and a flabby stomach.
Excercise is what I need to add in and tone the areas or try to tighten them which has not been easy since I am with my kids f/t and have a DH with a crazy schedule.
I just start kickboxing and hope to add some more workouts in between.
ETA: Wanted to add this is the lightest I have been since even before marriage (5yrs ago). even at this weight, it looks SO diff. I hate the aging process too

I am 25 lbs below pre-baby weight and I am still having an issue with my stomach. I am going for another 25lbs.

Re: What is your new goal weight post baby?
I am my pre-preg weight from before pregnancy #1, and my body is definitely not the same. For me losing more weight it not the answer though. My belly has a lot of loose skin so losing weight won't help there. My muscles are also seperated so I get bloated very easily. I am hoping in time my skin bounces back and with working out my muscles get stronger though they will always be seperated.

I just have to say I think you look AMAZING! You should be so happy with your post preg. body Julie! You are an inspiration! (especially for those of us who are terrified of getting pregnant and having to lose the weight!)

Thank you! My body definitely will never be the same as it once was (like around the time of my honeymoon!) but considering having 3 kids and gaining 56 and 75 lbs with my pregnancies, I can't complain too much.
