mirrored walls
I've removed way too much of the top two in a few houses that I'm never doing it again.
OMG YES
that and formica
grandma houses
people who park their cars on the lawn or in the back of their houses

Well, my house had nearly all of the peeves mentioned above I obvioulsy saw through the problems.
Ditto...
Our house was FILTHY. My mom ran out gagging
But, we were worn down. It was in our price range, and we loved the neighborhood. We made it work.

I would get sick to my stomcah if there was a smell... any smell-candles, cats, cookies and yes my personal favorite...curry! I threw up outside of a house in West Hempstead. Right on the sidewalk in front of their house. (I was pregnant at the time...)

When we were looking i totally bugged out when I saw bathrooms with shag carpet, how does anyone have a bathroom with carpeting in it. how do you get that clean??? One lady had bright fuscia shag carpet in her bathroom...scary

OMG same thing happened to me
there was this curry stench in the house...
but i continued to walk around..
i don't know what made me do it but i opened the oven..
and there was a tray of gross moldy curry food
wanted to DIE

Dh and I once left a house that we were in for 1 minute and we SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTES! I wanted to vomit!

Poor quality or cheap renovations - we saw so many bad do-it-yourself jobs where you'd have to do so much work to un-do the damage they'd done. Like the childs bedroom with a construction theme - steel railing as corner molding bolted to the ceiling - a roadmap collage glued to one whole wall as wall paper (yes, actual road maps overlapping, not wallpaper) and a wheelbarrel tire bolted behind the door as a bumper to keep the doorknob from hitting the wall. We ended up asking "who gave that person a hammer?" more than once.

Not so much weird but ..mirrored friggin walls!! hate that so much.. even mirrored closet doors bother me.
